Everything you need to know about cleaning your Stoov
Your Stoov keeps you warm and comfortable, so it’s only natural to want to keep it fresh and clean. With the right care, your Stoov will stay in great condition for years. Follow the tips below to clean it safely and correctly.
Protect the technical parts
The technical inner of your Stoov contains the heating elements and battery connection. These parts must never get wet.
- Do not wash, soak, or submerge the technical inner in water
- Clean the technical inner only by wiping it with a cloth
- Always remove the battery before cleaning
Remove and wash the outer cover
The outer cover can be cleaned separately and, depending on the fabric, washed according to the instructions below and on the wash and care label. Always check that the cover is fully dry before placing it back on the Stoov.
Follow the fabric-specific washing instructions
Each Stoov fabric has its own care requirements:
- Original fabric – Machine washable at 30°C
- Woolly fabric – Machine washable at 30°C
- Knitted fabric – Machine washable at 30°C
- Velvet fabric – Cover can be handwashed
- Teddy fabric – Machine washable at 30°C
- Core fabric – Cover can be handwashed
- Canvas fabric – Machine washable at 30°C
Use a mild detergent and avoid tumble drying to keep the fabric looking its best.
Let everything dry completely
Before reassembling your Stoov:
- Make sure the outer cover is completely dry
- Never reconnect the battery or use your Stoov while any part is still damp
