How does Stoov heating work?

Stoov uses in house designed far infrared technology that warms you directly instead of heating the air around you. It’s efficient, safe, and gives you a cosy warmth that feels natural.

How long does the battery last?

Depending on the product, the battery type and heat setting, a Stoov keeps you warm for up to 14 hours on a single charge. Perfect for a full workday, a long evening on the couch or a night of camping.

Can I wash the cover?

Absolutely. All Stoov covers are removable and machine-washable. Just take out the heating element and battery, and wash the fabric according to the care label.

Where can I use my Stoov?

How the warmth works

Big Hug uses the same infrared technology as the rest of the Stoov range, warming your body directly rather than heating the seat around you, closer to sunlight than an electric blanket. Choose from three heat settings, from a gentle warmth of up to 32°C to an intense high of up to 58°C for the coldest evenings. Runtime depends on the battery, from up to 2 hours on the Base battery to up to 3 hours on the Flex battery, plenty for a film or a long dinner. SmartWarm, our built-in safety system, monitors the temperature and switches off automatically, so it's safe to leave under you the whole time.
