How the warmth works

Every Ploov cushion and Big Hug blanket uses infrared technology that warms your body directly, rather than heating the air around it, closer to the feeling of sunlight on your skin than a plug-in heater. Choose from three heat settings, from a gentle warmth of up to 32°C for long, easy sessions to an intense high of up to 58°C when the cold really sets in. Depending on the battery you pick, that's up to 5 hours of cordless warmth with the Base battery, up to 9 with Flex, or up to 14 hours with Pro for longer days. Every setting is backed by SmartWarm, our safety system with temperature monitoring and automatic shut-off, so you can relax without checking on it.
